Meet Stephanie. Senior Manager, Finance Fraud Strategy and Performance, Comcast
What do you love most about your job?
My primary role is managing our Xfinity Mobile customer decisioning model, which places additional friction on higher-risk transactions while creating a positive customer experience for what we identify as “low-risk” transactions. I work closely with our technology and data partners to manage and continuously improve this model. As a member of Comcast Finance, I love being able to make an impact on both the business's bottom line and the customer experience.
What are the biggest obstacles you see for young women in the media, entertainment and/or technology industries?
The biggest obstacle I see young women face in the media, entertainment, and technology industries is connecting with female leaders in senior positions who can serve as relatable mentors. I always strive to find a female role model or mentor to guide me as I grow and expand my career. I've been fortunate to have wonderful female mentors and relationships to help me.
What do you value most about your membership with The WICT Network?
I value the relationships and bonds I have built in mentorship program most. Since joining Comcast almost 2 years ago, I immediately benefited from joining Comcast and the WICT Network has provided a great opportunity for me to connect with other female leaders throughout the organization.

To stay present in the day to day, I am mindful of my tendency to focus on the next goal or task. I understand that it is important to tackle my to-do list, but I also believe that it is equally important to be present in the current moment.
My favorite mantra is…
My favorite mantra is "Be kind to yourself, be kind to your brain." I heard it recently on a podcast and it resonated with me. It's so easy to overthink or have self-doubt, but this mantra reminds me to be gentler with myself and approach life with kindness.
One book, TV show, or movie I’d recommend (and why!) is…
My favorite TV show is "The White Lotus." I recently got married and my husband and I traveled to Sicily for our honeymoon, inspired by the show's beautiful scenery in season 2. I highly recommend visiting Sicily and watching the show if you haven’t!
