Meet Jessica: Director of Data Stewardship at Comcast
What do you love most about your job? The People! I get to work with amazing, intelligent and inspiring people in my role. I enjoy improving the employee experience by serving as an advocate to understand employee feedback and having a voice at the table in providing solutions that motivate our employees and make our organization a great place to work. I also love simplifying processes and transforming the end user experience with automation.
How have other women helped shape your career? I fell into the Technology field in 2007 as I saw a gap and opportunity for reporting and automation, I had various women leaders that mentored, trained, coached and connected me with people, process and tools that helped shaped my career, self-awareness and branding that opened many growth opportunities for me within Comcast.
Outside of work, what’s something you are passionate about? I have a 9-year-old son and a husband (who thinks he is still a kid), so most of my free time caters around them with Sports, games, Pokémon, Nerf; etc. I do enjoy spending time with family & friends as they help me disconnect, unwind and recharge. I also enjoy remodeling and seeing my transformation come to life.
What do you value most about your membership with The WICT Network? I value the events and connections that WICT offers and how WICT provides a safe, supportive place that allows its members to learn, grow, thrive and give back. I’ve met individuals through the TechItOut events that I still connect with today.
